Spirit Airlines says most passenger refunds processed as airline winds down operations
After failing to secure a government bailout, Spirit Airlines announced its shutdown and told Reuters that the majority of customer refunds have already been issued. The carrier said it is close to completing all outstanding refunds as it ends operations.
