Georgia's SSSG Arrests Two in Batumi on Islamic State Terrorism Charges
The State Security Service of Georgia announced the arrest of one Georgian citizen and one foreign national in the coastal city of Batumi on terrorism-related charges linked to the Islamic State group. The investigation was launched under Article 328 of Georgia's Criminal Code, according to agency first deputy head Lasha Maghradze at an April 20 briefing.
