Trump Invites Musk, Cook and Business Leaders to Join China Trip; Taiwan Watches Closely
President Trump has invited Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and more than a dozen other business leaders to accompany him to Beijing for meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday and Friday. Taiwan's Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung said the island is 'not overly worried' but does not want any 'surprises' from the summit, expressing confidence in U.S.-Taiwan ties while acknowledging Taiwan is among the most sensitive items on the agenda.
