Shots Fired Near National Mall; Press Evacuated
A bystander was shot near the National Mall after an altercation involving the Secret Service. The press was evacuated from the North Lawn as a precaution. The shooting took place at 15th Street and Independence Avenue adjacent to the Washington Monument.
