Hong Kong AI lab to launch DeepSeek‑based model on Chinese chips
The Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Centre plans to unveil HKGAI‑V3, a model built on DeepSeek V4 architecture that runs entirely on domestically produced Chinese chips. The lab aims to export the "sovereign AI" system to overseas markets in the first half of the year.
