Hebrew Union College to Close Cincinnati Rabbinical Program, Last Graduates in May
The oldest Reform Jewish seminary in the United States, Hebrew Union College‑Jewish Institute of Religion, announced it will shut down its Cincinnati rabbinical program after graduating its final four students in early May. NPR noted the college will continue operating other campuses and programs. The announcement was made on 5 May 2026.
