Hantavirus Outbreak Tied to Cruise Ship Grows; Infected American Among Repatriated Passengers
Health officials have identified at least 10 confirmed or suspected hantavirus cases linked to an outbreak on the M/V Hondius cruise ship. Americans aboard a repatriation flight have returned to the U.S., with one passenger testing mildly PCR positive for the Andes virus and another beginning to show symptoms mid-flight, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
