CIC recommends DoPT include sub-caste data in UPSC results
The Central Information Commission (CIC) has recommended that the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) include sub-caste data in the UPSC results to broaden the reach of affirmative action. The CIC stated that this would help in identifying candidates from underrepresented groups.
