AP education chief orders action against 50 underperforming government junior colleges
Andhra Pradesh’s intermediate education chief Ranjith Basha conducted a statewide review of junior colleges with low pass rates. He issued show‑cause notices to principals and lecturers, removed guest faculty in weak subjects, and set a target of 100 % pass rate for the 2026‑27 academic year. The initiative aims to raise academic standards across the state.
